[WALMART] $0.02 Clearance Item Update Store Policy - jeff_hunter - 10-10-2025
The following is for reference only. This memo recently went out to stores regarding the handling of customer found $0.02 items. While this doesn't specifically mention it, this would likely not include items recalled due to a safety recall as it is illegal for stores to continue to sell such items. In the event that a store cashier or SCO attendant gives you issues with buying a $0.02 item; Simply make them aware that as far as you are aware they are instructed to allow customers to purchase said items unimpeded, should they still question; Request a supervisor or manager.
